From the moment I picked this up late nights ensued!! "The Manny" is one of those books that you just want to keep reading until its finished. As a mother of three girls I know what a struggle it is on a daily basis to get organised, let alone how hard it must be if, like Jamie (the main female character), you are trying to juggle children with a career. It's no wonder that when Jason (The Manny) suddenly appears in Jamie's life she feels all her prayers have been answered. Here is a man that can help to nurture her children, her son to overcome his fears and be a father figure - something that their own father should be doing except he is far too busy with his career - and also provide the support that she finds so desperately lacking. I would highly recommend this book and defy anyone not to enjoy it!
