We do not wish, or like, to set many rules and regulations on the forum. Instead we ask for members to use common sense, responsibility, and better judgment when posting or replying. We will point out a few things specifically that we feel are necessary and important things to keep in mind if you are going to participate in the Mumszone community.
Failure to comply with the decency we wish to keep here will result in a removal (or removals) of a post or thread along with a warning. We understand some people make mistakes, that's why we'll give warnings. Repeated incidents with someone who has already received more than one warning will result in a suspension or ban from the forum. We do not wish to take any action such as removing threads or posts, or even banning members.
1. Keeping the peace with the community
Please don't be disruptive or start trouble or flame wars on the forums. Be respectful of one another along with the administrator and moderators. When a number of people are together there will always undoubtedly be difference in opinions and views. Be tolerant, respectful, and accepting of those in the other members. If you feel another member is truly being unreasonable or a post of his/her is questionable, feel free to contact the administrator or moderators about it, we'll try to help as best as we can to clear anything up and keep the peace. Failure to reply to admin private messages may result in a warning or a ban.
2. No SPAM!! No off topic self promotions of any products.
SPAM is a huge problem on the Internet, mainly with private email. However, many online forums are plagued with this as well. Any messages posted that's SPAM will be removed and a warning will be issued to the user. If the user posts another SPAM message after an issued warning, they will be banned. This also includes joining just to post links to other sites, and any member posting a link to a site with similar content to this one.. For this reason only regular members (over 30 posts) may post a link to another site (excluding WAHP's and providing the content is not the same or similar to this one) unless otherwise agreed with Admin first. If you are unsure whether a link can be placed please always check with admin first otherwise links may be removed without notice.
3. Recruitment posts and Affiliates
No recruitment posts are allowed nor is promotion of affiliate websites. Mumszone has their own affiliate section and this is not deemed a Work at Home Business.
4. PM'ing and emailing other members
Members found to be PM'ing or emailing other members to promote their own or other sites will immediately be banned from the forums. Members sending rude or abusive emails will also get an instant ban
5. Banners, signatures and site links
You are not permitted to add your banner to your signature or profile unless you are a WAH Business (and therefore follow the rules contained within that section), unless you get express permission from Admin first. Anyone found to be breaking this rule will have their signature removed without notice. You are not permitted to add a link into your signature unless you are a WAHP and you follow the rules within that section. Please do not add links in your signature/profile to sites containing the same content to this site (unless permission given by Admin to do so).
If you keep these few things in mind we'll never have to take any of those drastic actions, so please play nice.
