I am always reading the forums on this site, it's great!
from how to save money on utility bills, to 'grab it while you can' posts on baragins about at the moment.
For instance, did you know that if you buy something at Tesco, and it's been over charged, if you pay, then go to Customer services, they refund & replace( shown on the customer charter behind the service desks), which means you get your money back, and the item!
i did this a while back.. took 2 DVD players to the checkout and whoops, they were overprced:clapping: so i took the to C services, had over £60 refunded, and they gave me the DVD players!
One of the reasons I read this site before going shopping!!
Hope it's of use to some of you :D http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/index.html?

it must be you 2 who have all the luck, i am getting the tesco newsletter and every club they do, lol and when i took some nappies back to complain i just got the amount they cost me and i emailed tesco and complained, but still nothing, and am always been overcharged but their excuse is the offer has finished and we forgot to take the sticker off, but surely if the sticker is there they have to do it still???, unless we have to crawl on the floor and read the small print, lmao

yes wokkies i believe they DO have to charge the amount on the ticket:yes: ..when ds was born..i sent dh to Boots to get one of the monitors (to hear him if he cried and we were downstairs..what they called?)..anyway they had the ones with the alarms (that go off if they don't detect any movement (or breathing)) and they were priced at £39.00..bargain my dh thought and went to pay..the lady scanned it and it came up as £100.00 odd (can't remember the exact amount)...so he said no..they are priced at £39. you have to sell it to me for that..anyway. they manager was called and dh was giving it 'i know my rights etc' and the manager had to back down and sell it at that price..as he was leaving the store they were already taking them off the shelves lol....
i've also done the same with baby food.(in boots).for weeks it was 3 for 2..then it expired.....but they left one ticket on the shelf saying it still 3for 2..so when i got to desk and was charged for 3..i explained that they were still advertising it..so she had to give it to me for that price..it worked..be persistant and stand your ground!!..
dunno if you can find anything on the web about consumer rights etc?
leyt me know if you do xx
