Help on working tax credits and tax declaration

I never knew on the tax declaration that you had to put your self employed income donw, how do i do this, if i only registered with inland rev on Jan this year, what do i do??
Do you have to tell the tax credit ppl you are self employed as i told the inland revenue the revenues dept i was self employed, am really confused??

Its complicated, your best bet is to call them and have a chat with them, thats what i had to do.

yes i've called the tax credit people and the inland rev...both been very helpful in the past xx

Yes I called them up and the lady was lovely who I spoke to, she went through the form with me. You do need to let them know asap or you may be overpaid unfortunately. 20061008

Same with me, I had to call them up. This was ages ago and I'm still not sure how it's all sorted out, but apparently it is.

Ok thank you guys, i will call them up and go over ti with them on the phone, i just never knew you had to add on your business to your working tax credits, i got a row for not tellin them i was registered as self employed, i thought inland rev was inland rev and it would appear on their pc's/
