Hi all

I'm hoping somebody can answer this for me.

I wonder if anybody can tell me how much (percentage-wise) of the sales of usborne books etc are given to the playgroup/nursery?

The same with photographers - how much roughly, percentage-wise is donated to the nursery?

Many thanks

it depends on the value of sales the minimum is 10% in free books the maximum is 60%. If you need the exact figures I'll dig them out.

Why do you ask?

I've just started selling Usborne Books

Hi Dawn

Generally there are three types of commission for hosts of Usborne events.

For home parties and small events the commission is free books worth 10% of the value of books sold at the event as long as sales are £80 or more. This rises to 20% if two bookings for further events are taken at the event.
For school orders the commission is free books worth 10%, 30% or 60% of the value of books sold.
The library discount scheme offers a discount of 10%, 20% or 30% on the value of the order depending on the total amount of the order.

For toddler groups etc. the Organiser will work out the most beneficial package for the event. Sometimes an Organiser will also offer additional incentives at their own discretion.

Sorry, I should have explained myself better. I'm going to approach my playgroup as I would like to sell my Autoballs there in a similar way to the book people. I wanted to offer the playgroup a fair percentage as a donation.

I'll offer them 10% of the sales value.
