Probably a question for Trogette, any hints and tips for ways to manage and cope with a very active bright 2 and half year old?
Ds#2 is wearing me out, I feel like he controls the family and tells us what to do. We were all up at 6.30am cos he "made" us get up.
Thanks

I understand what you are goint through!! Our ds (now 5) was exactly the same! WE found introducing him to the computer - cbeebies, paint and stuff like that - a godsend! He also loved taking things apart. WE were lucky to have things like old bikes and stuff that he could take apart. It was great.
Ds1 (2 is now also very bright, but likes to be mummys special helper and so i am always having to find her loads of jobs. Both of the older ones have loved books and puzzles. Drawing pictures and stuff like that.
Good luck and if i can be of any help let me know!!

yep I go with 'benign neglect' ie don't think you have to organise stuff for him to do all the time, he can do a decent amount for himself and ask you for help when needed. And if he still naps you can see if you can synchronise him with your dd and nap yourself ;)
