Can anyone recommend a good laser printer, nothing to flashy or pricey as I mainly just print off invoices, envelopes and a few other bits and bobs. Dont really want a top feeder either like the epson ones!

DONT BUY A KYOCERA!!!

I used to workin hardware sales i would suggest a base model Canon laser or a Hewlett packard 6MP ( This printer is fantastic it is about 4 years old and stil no one can beat it not even HP) If you wanna look@ second hand you could do a lot worse than a HP 6P or 4MV/4V

Remanufactured cartridges for these are cheap as chips and very good ( look @ green tech or Tinto remans only) as the remanufacturers (sp) have had a long time to get it right

Hope this helps

Also aviod Lexmark anything as the cartridges are more expensive than buying a new printer.

Where abouts in Yeovil is he?

I've just got a printer which uses tri-coloured cartridges and am looking for somewhere that may be able to refill them.

Hiya,

Been through a fair few printers in my time LOL! and would never ever buy an epson again, bought one and took it back within 2 weeks (wasnt bloody cheap either) but it was crap!

I will ALWAYS go with Canon's they are fab, my last one I must have had for 6 years and it was great and done LOADS of printing!! I currently have a Canon Pixma IP4200 and I LOVE it. You can either use it as a top loader (ideal for cards) or the alternative feeder. Seperate ink tanks which is a GREAT money saver !!!

I also have HP 3 in one wotsit, no so good quality printing and the cartridges are dearer.

HTH

I've just bought an HP one in the end but its a laser printer, so fingers crossed, the print quality should be pretty good!
