New to here and to my own buisness

hi all just wanted to say hello and introduce myself.
I am mishi and am mum to 4 children age 7,4,3 and 16mths. I have just[last week] started my own buisness on facebook. At the min it seems to be going ok had a few orders but could do with any advice even from basic things like how do you organise orders etc.

Hi there, yes pop a like to your face book so we can like you page for you. As for order I simply do mine in the order they where ordered in, i.e first come first served. Tend to print off all the dispatch notes and place them in order on a clip board then work through them. Guess anyway works so long as you are organised.

I am currently using notepad in windows to keep track of orders but wondered if there was something better I could be doing and also need a system to link my paypal to the orders so I know who has paid for what.

I don't know what would be the best thing to use that is automated, as most of us have our own websites with a shopping cart that tracks orders, their status, payment status etc. Other than that I would always rely on good ol' excel....maybe you could do a download from PayPal and then have columns showing order status - paid, product made, product ready to dispatch, dispatched, etc.
