Its very quiet on here at the moment, where is everyone, hopefully you are all too busy to be on the computer at the moment.
There is a post on the boards from someone looking for Christmassy items and she mentioned that she doesn't know who lots of the WAH's are because they don't post very often on the parenting side of the board. I know that some of you do but maybe we should all be making a concerted effort to use the whole forum putting our names, banners and businesses infront of other a willing and ready market on the forum. Just a thought.
Hope everyones Christmas trading is going well, I've got fairs booked along with demo's and hopefully an open studio in November, dodgy considering the studio is half way down a possibly wet and rainy garden  might put up a gazebo outside the patio doors with lighting and put all my gear there instead if its wet then people only have to step outside and under the gazebo.
Anyone else got any fairs booked this season.

Hi,
I know I'm busy busy busy at the moment, especially with the hectic family-filled weekend I've just had!
You're right - I should post more often both on here, AND on the more general boards - might have to make it a new year's resolution!
Open studio in November sounds interesting....;-) Good luck with it!

Extremely busy!
Even with Eithne being in nursery 5 days a week I've been working till 11pm every single night and getting nowhere, but it's causing me a lot of problems (health and personal) so enough - I will work my 8am to 4pm every day and if needed do a few extra bits one or two nights a week on client stuff. I need my sanity and my life back.
I've still got a list a mile long both for client's as well as stuff for each business and some other work related/personal things - so it's just constant go go go from the time I sit down at my laptop until DH gets home.
My carpal tunnel has cleared up so the surgery was a success, but now other problems with my hands have come to light as the carpal tunnel was masking them. Just saw the GP this afternoon and they are sending me for quite a number of blood tests but no doubt I'll end up being re-referred back to the same consultant I just saw (he wouldn't treat me for anything apart from carpal tunnel so have to go back to the beginning).
Sorting out the new range still as I've got a delivery at the delivery office to pick up which will be more pieces to get up - so keeping super busy really.

Busy here too, and will be getting busier. I do try and post in the general forum but know I need to make more of an effort, I seem to post on Facebook more these days as the forums are really quiet.
Your open day sounds fab, I can get 3 6ft table in my gazebo and still room for customers so it moght be worth doing ;) would look lovely decked out all Christmassy :)

Following the trend I'm up to my neck in it as usual. We've just started recording year on year figures so I'm able for the first time to see how the shop is performing and it's very good so far touch wood.
Getting ready for Christmas and this year I've designed my own catalogue with the designers just tidying it up. Very proud of myself :)
Very very tired though, this is definately now too much for me but I'm stuck at least until Christmas is over then hopefully I can start getting new staff in again and take it a bit easier.

Really busy, crazy busy. Good busy and hectic busy. Yes I will make more of an effort to post in other areas. Although I don't sell a product, I will be on the look-out now that xmas is coming up.

I'm really busy too - it's gone crazy here over the past few months - not that I'm complaining! All the hours that the kids are in school I spend working, with lunch on the hoof, and the odd foray into Facebook for distraction :cheesy:.
I've had to let my other forums (including this one) slip, because I simply haven't had the time and energy to post.
Today is relatively quiet though, so will have have a mooch around here while I have my morning cuppa!

We have been really busy too, must be the run up to christmas. I tend to browse Facebook whilst I am engraving as I can just dip in and out. My housework has gone by the wayside for the moment, so feel like I am living in a tip.

busy here, too, and accounts have to be done soon so am stocktaking etc too <<yawn!>>. I do check in on the forum regularly, but tend to post more on twitter or facebook, not sure why, think I've just got out of the forum habit- will put that right!

Good point - since setting up Facebook & Twitter I do spend time on there rather than here

Hi Kate and everyone else,
I'm getting busier thanks to the time of year and the weather. I've just had my first wholesale order and am trying to get other accounts too. Bring on the cold!!!!

I need to get in the shed making jewellery rather than beads ready for my fairs as I sell more made up stuff than beads at fairs unless its a bead fair of course.
