I'm just making a small 10cm flyer for Lactivist, it folds in the middle so it has a square front and back and a rectangular middle.
The front has a product shot, description and the website address, the back has info about the 2 other lactivist sites, lactivist net and lactivist bling.
What shall I have in the middle?
How much information should I put in or is it better to just have pictures?
I have a discount code for it, I was thinking of putting in something about organic/fair trade etc.
Any advice much appreciated!

pictures can say a thousand words! well thats my opinion. I just know its the flyers with pictures I take notice off, no those with all the text! You have to capture their attention in only a few seconds
pictures do speak louder than words - but key points also a bonus x

Thank you! I have some fantastic photos of a baby wearing the t-shirts, I'll use some of them scattered with photos of badges and cards.
How about a customer review? Good or bad idea?

Hi - I agree that pictures say more than words. Also with flyers, less is more. Keep it simple and clean looking. I would also be inclined to leave it to the one main site address. Putting 3 website addresses may be confusing. Can you access the other 2 sites through your main one?
And since your flyer is small, I think it's really very important just to focus on the key message. What is the purpose of the flyer? Bear that in mind and keep to the focus. Also make sure that there is a clear call to action.

Definately pictures - and lots of white space to make them stand out :)

on something that small less is more.
you almost want to tease them to your site to find our more as once they are through the door, you have them.
if you give them everything in the flyer, they have no need to visit you

I've actually just done a flyer - they should be arriving on Friday - so excited as they're my first lot of flyers. I have 5000 coming and so hoping they work.
