Can you add site links in anywhere on EBAY?

No it's against ebay rules. You can't add a link that leads to a site that's not part of ebay. I've just almost been in trouble for it - is that what you mean?

I asked on the forum once and was told that you wasn't allowed to add a link in your listings or ebay shop but you could in your About Me page, which is what I have done.

Mine and dh links are in the About Me Page as well.

Well if ebay see them you will be in trouble. They actually phoned me! They are really hot on it at the moment. It might not be so bad for forums and other business's but anyone with a website selling goods will get a warning.
They say that you are trying to avoid paying ebay fees by directing customers to buy the same items from a website - er......... yeah that's the whole point!!

Maybe more people are putting the website links in because ebay fees are getting so high now.

Dh has his on the listing as he sells software and to be able to trial the software before you buy you have to go to the site. Nobody has said anything as yet, but will have to wait and see if they do.

They will do Kerry. I've had a listing removed and I've had a phone call from ebay to tell me not to do it. I daren't do it anymore, but if you've not heard anything then just plead ignorant ;)
