Hi I'm after a bit a feed back on what sort of edging people like on their baby or childrens blankets. I'm torn between a blanket stitch edge and a cover stitch edge so wondered if you lla would give me your opinions too?

A pic of the two finishes

it would depend on the item in question, I like blanket stitching, but only if the design supports it. The cover stitch is going to be better on some items though.

Mr Temple Dene that was a very girly answer and I applaud you for it, honestly, that is a complement!
and I agree, I think it depends on the design, and the fabric

He is so in touch with his feminine side ..... and I agree depends on the blanket.

Thanks for all you posts its really helpful. I have to admit to being torn too, but as the machines in question are £1500 each I can only have one! :cheesy:
