:tcwozerek hello!

I know a few people from other forums but there are lots of people here that I don't know yet so here is a little introduction to me.

I'm Dawn and I am a wahm in Leicester with 3 small boys (6 nearly 4 and 1.5) - we live with my dp (their dad :happy72: ) who has run his won plastics design business from home for at least 15 years.

I was fed up of being a sahm and letting my brain go mush so decided to start a little business last year - I have a website selling pre-filled party bags, gifts, stickers etc. It is going well (although I doubt I will make much of a profit in my first year). The main reason I do it is because I had a good idea and wanted to make it work, and get my brain back into gear - and so far it is doing both.

I am also working very closely at the moment with my dp - we are about to launch a new product and website in time for the World Cup - we are scared but very excited about it - it's a plastic football plaque that fits on the front of a car like a car nose. The site should go live this week :clapping: eeek!

I'm looking forward to contributing to the forum as much as I can as it was a forum like this and the huge support I received that gave me the kick up the rear to do something myself :happy72: .

My websites if you want to look are:

Hi Dawn,

I suppose people always need party bags! ... there are a couple of peeps on here doing similar things.

The car "noses" sounds like a great idea - I'm sure the autoballs will almost sell themselves!

Hi Dawn, I am a WAHM with two boys aged 3 and 6. Welcome to the site and look forward to chatting with you.

Yes, the noses do sound like a good idea !! My friend had a remembrance poppy on her car for ages and it was really nice.

Hi Dawn

I am in the same business as you selling pre-filled party bags. I also do pre-wrapped pass the parcels and customised door plaques and fridge magnets.

My dh has his own internet software business which I run as well so most of my time and energy is put into that as it is very busy.

Look forward to chatting.

Thanks dawn.

Yes dh site gets more love and attention than my own, but then his business pays the bills so I cannot complain.
