New member Lattie here. 46 and rising - got two teenage boys. One's over in America at the moment teaching summer camp, the other is just about to break up from college. My youngest son has speech and language difficulties on the autistic spectrum but we've been really lucky with some great schools and met some wonderful people who've been willing to help him overcome his difficulties.
So as an older mum, there's probably lots I don't know, but I do know an awful lot (more than I really wanted to) about special needs education and statementing. I'm more than willing to share my experiences if there are any parents out there in a similiar situation.
I love reading and last year achieved a life long ambition to write my own novel. Trouble is I think its great but can't get any agents to agree with me! ... anyone got any good agents?
Lattie xx
