I was working through my weekly job list and making major progress - was really satisified with how I was doing and could tell that by the end of the week everything would be cleared off the list, until I hit that one horrible task I hate...File Ihelm's Corporation Tax Return!

I wasted 2 hours on the phone going between the online help desk and the corp tax office and neither party could help me as the online help desk aren't tax people so can't tell you what the help info means for the boxes and the corp tax office don't have access to the online system. They've changed the whole thing again and have made it more complicated by the looks of it.

So I have to resort to filing it by paper - no big deal I have the calculations worked out just need to fill out the form - but oh wait now you have file a Director's Report with it! Argh! No idea what one is so the woman at the tax office actually went through a sample with me - okay no problems mine will be super straight forward - except I'm out of ink on the printer. :hysterica

So now I have to wait for DH to get home and help me find the ink cartridge that I know we bought, and help me figure out how to put it into the printer. LOL

AH well it will be done by the end of tonight and posted off.

Think I will wait and see if this one is accepted before I try to do the one for Delicate Dreams. :D

After that hiccup though I stopped being so enthusiastic about getting stuff done today.

Totaly sympathy re the tax office. I wasted a who day last week thanks to them. I attended a course they offered me on Limited Companies so I would have a bit more of an idea what the accountant did for us. Got there and they had decided not to run that one but do one on Newly self employed and how to register! Great no use to anyone who was there, and they didnt appologies or anything really, total waste.

Then I get a self cert tax reminder addressed to Perfectly Personalised and not one of us? Call them up and they have registered PP as a partnership not a limited co! So they said I should get the accountant to re send in all the paper work so they can set it up again properly!

And we pay these people how much?? :hysterica

Oh that is very annoying!

I'm determined to get the director's report typed up tonight and printed. DH found my ink cartridge so just have to install it now. LOL

Directors report, no problem, putting ink in the printers? dont let me near them! I took the drum out and was trying to ram in the cartridge on one of the printers, till someone pointed out it didnt go there! I'm best not let loose on machines other than my sewing machines. :cheesy:

Oh and I got 2 letters today off the tax office telling me I'm booked on 2 more courses!! Didnt ask for them so they can forget it, they drive me mad.

I got it all done last night and posted out! Only took me another 2 hours last night because I had to provide supporting calculations (so had to type those up) and do the directors' report.

I'm so glad that one is done and off my list!
