Has anyone heard of any good movies due out at christmas. We are all going to see one on christmas eve. A couple of years ago I took the girls to see Santa Claus 2 on christmas eve and they loved it, particularly as it got them more excited for the next day. Its about the one night I can get them in bed when they are told as they know father christmas doesnt come until they are asleep!!!!

Good one for the adults looks like Surviving Christmas. It doesnt have Santa in it so i dont think children would enjoy it as a christmas film. http://www.survivingchristmas.com/intro.html
The other Christmas film out will be Christmas with the Kranks.

Another one for the list
The Polar Express.
My two watched it tonight and loved it. Its about a boy who stops believing in you know who until a train stops outside his house and takes him to the north pole.
Really nice film and would be great for a christmas trip

Those two sound really good and Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis are always good.
My 2 are watching "The polar express" atm and judging by the reactions i can hear coming from the other room it get's the thumbs up from them :D

Woah blimey, a year late I am on this post - but what a fab idea! I will do that with mine this Christmas Eve I think. We will be in Wales and te cinema is an hour from my mums house but sounds like a good idea to me! Off to search for release dates and see if there is anything good scheduled for then...

:cold1: Bit misleading sorry, it's an hour to Newport which is the nearest biggest multiscreen. The local one is a bit naff and very cramped with one screen showing the same film all week so it is better to travel :)

I can remember when i was a kid, (well up until i was about 15), me and my younger brother used to watch santa claus the movie (the old one with Dudley Moore as the elf), about a week before christmas we would start, then everyday until christmas eve would be the last night we'd watch it, used to drive my mum insane  ,
My mum still has the video, i think i may make it a new tradition and borrow it this year for my girls...:happy72:

Some of the smaller cinemas in Wales are pretty naff aint they and grubby too I find!!!!!
We usually go to the one in Nantgarw near Pontypridd or we go to the one in the bay in Cardiff.
