We're going on the Sunday - not sure if we're going morning or afternoon yet as it'll depend on Eithne. We're leaving her with the inlaws - much to my dread.

Hoping to spend a few hours there going through the jewellery hall at a leisurely pace - stop by our existing suppliers and hopefully pick up another.

Need to find my little packs that I got though and get things sorted out. :D

Have you had your pass yet? Not sure if we are going or not. Got a potential fair this weekend to attend but it depends on the weather.

I know we got 2 little packs from the spring fair but I never opened them. LOL I need to find them (they are buried in the office somewhere) and see what's in them.

We will be going but not sure when yet. Probably not at the weekend though because of the kids.

We're down that way for the weekend anyway for FIL's birthday on the Saturday - otherwise we wouldn't be able to go as there's no way DH could get time off work. :-( Thankfully DH's siblings and his parent's have said they will watch Eithne for us - but I know we can only stay away for a few hours at most. Maybe one year I'll be brave enough to go on my own.

I don't do the Sunday as it's busiest day. I think DS and I will be there Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm considering staying in a hotel at the NEC this time though so I don't have to go backwards and forwards and as the dogs will have to go in kennels anyway, it makes sense.

I've had my pass sent through by email a few days ago.

DH's parent's only live about 30 to 40 minutes away from Birmingham so it makes it easy for us to just decamp there. LOL

We're going on the Wednesday, although it only takes about 15 mins for us as we live in Solihull so its a fab venue for us.

Feistygal, if you want to board the dogs close to the nec so you can see them whilst there I can recommend a very good kennels, she is very well known in the dog world and they are lovely there. Let me know if your interested.

I am going on the Wednesday/Thursday and am staying a night. Going to be a long busy week as I'm in Germany the few days before and London before that.

Sounds perfect Arianna! We're only an hour away on the train but as I need to do two days it makes sense to stay, rather than going backwards and forwards in rush hour.

Thanks elkatie but I'm not that kind of dog owner, doesn't bother me being away from them - it's a nice break!

It's perfect - I get home cooked meals and don't have to spend any money except on petrol and what I spend at the fair. :D

Stop trying to torture me!! I can't help it if some friends don't read their emails!!

Like Harry Hill would say "well I like a sausage cob and I like a bacon butty but which is better?"

Trust me if I can do it then anyone can, I go into panic just going shopping but I've been in a position of no option when it comes to these things so many times I just take the plunge now. I'm always soooooooo scared right before I go.

I am the ultimate disaster when it comes to going places - I nearly aways book the wrong days, flights, hotels etc and then I get lost so many times on route lol. Honestly it's a big running joke because DH is just as bad so we're always ending up in really funny situations although it doesn't feel like it at the time! For example last time I went to this show I booked a hotel so far away I had to take 3 busses and ask directions from at least 10 people. :cheesy: This time I made sure I'm within walking distance!!!!!!

You'll love it!

might be there on the sunday, may not depending on child care. sunday tends to be the busiest day as all the smaller independents go then so it might be hard to stop, but if i'm there and i can, it would be lovely to say hi.
