We are still going strong. Just need to get another 4 orders and then I have reached another milestone for us which is absolutely brilliant and I am very pleased as we have exceeded all my expectations this year. Glad that things are going well for you Ketty and everyone else.

Excellent, thanks. Dream Stationery is really taking off, so much so I hardly have time for forums these days :help10: The amount of babies having christenings and naming days is HUGE!
Glad you are having a very successful time Ketty! :kisshands:

Wow glad to hear you are all doing so well! :clapping:
December is a quieter month for us, but I am chuffed with that because I am just exhausted from the last 6 months! So Im trying to make the most of it and relax a little :cheesy:

After today I am 1 order shy of matching my total sales for last December so I am very happy and praying that order comes in. :D
Ihelm Enterprises - I have 4 sets of accounts on the verge of being done. I'm literally just waiting on small amounts of info to complete each set and then I have one set I still haven't even started yet. If I manage to get the 4 sets done before Christmas I will be totally ecstatic because I didn't even think I'd have one set near to being complete.

knackered! never imagined it would be as busy this year, and not only have our online sales gone crazy but he actual shop itself has gone mental, and still two weeks to go! We have last of deliveries arriving this week, more so for the dancewear side of things, although we did have to reorder some lines for blushfashions but most of these have already sold! We have a lovely new range to start the new year with, but a first delivery arrives this week so may even get these on the site before christmas. and ballet shoes, what can I say but every little girl must want to be a ballerina this year!

I have more work than hours available in the day, I'm really really pleased with that. The work itself is exciting and challenging and all my clients absolutely lovely to work with. I'm not managing my work time as well as I want to in the last 2 weeks as the kids have been needing LOTS of attention but I'm hoping to start the year on the right foot :happy72:
I'm excited to see that small businesses are undeterred by the recession, I'm sure 2010 will be a good year!
it's so lovely to read that everyone is doing well.

November was busier for me than I expected (just opened!) but December has been quiet.
Going to work on the mystery kits a bit over Christmas and then make a real push in the New Year.
Here's to a new decade! 20061010

Well all I can say is, thank goodness I'm on holiday this week. I don't usually take orders because of the nature of what I do, but this year so many people have asked for specific things that I have so much to do this weel that I can't see myself having much time off. It's fab though, has paid for Christmas and and Joes birthday and an oxycon which will be fabulous to start the new year with along with the new torch I'm having for Christmas.
Well done everyone. Hope you get to take it easy soon and all have a good Christmas.
It's great to hear that everyone is doing so well :-)
We are 2 sales away from our best December figures and we're only half way through. I'm really happy with the past year.
I wish you all the best for 2010 :-D

So pleased you are all doing so well, if anyone needs a spare pair of hands I am twiddling my thumbs here. Not sure what has happened but sales have gone from a slow trickle to nothing. Ah well, onwards and upwards.

It's great to hear so many success stories, well done everyone, (and for those who are as quiet as Chiggs is at this time of year, lets hope 2010 starts with a bang!)

I'm really pleased to see everyone doing well!
We're quiet here, too, which isn't entirely unusual for December, but I'm slightly worried because for the first time we've seen a drop in sales from last year (during October and November). But then, I suppose we couldn't keep growing each month indefinitely - we seem to have reached a plateau, and as long as we don't continue to drop then I'll be happy!
I'm taking advantage of the quiet time this month to try and get to grips with Google Analytics - have managed to set and measure a goal (woo hoo!) and attached my adwords campaign to it so I can finally measure if I get any sales out of it :cheesy:
I've also been updating my BT Tradespace, adding pics to FickR and looking at back links :happy72:.

Dawn we had a slight drop in sales in October during the postal strike c/w last year - which stopped being a drop the day the postal strike ended, it was up after that, so I'm attributing it to people thinking 'I'll order when the strike ends' and maybe not actually ordering because they didn't need it after all (we still had the 4 wraps and liners orders) and for you perhaps 'best get something in the supermarket'

Thanks Miranda - yes, the postal workers did have a huge impact, and there is always the rise of the pound shop, and of course the supermarkets, and the renaissance of the woolworths brand online which probably hit lots of small independants.
Competition is very fierce, as it is for all of us at the moment, but I'm intending to ride it out - not much else I can do, really!
Onwards and upwards, as they say!

Just coming up for air after a manic couple of months. It's gone a bit quieter in the last couple of days but loads of people are now adding their events for 2010/11 so will probably be mad busy again just after Xmas.
Glad to hear so many of you are doing well.
Gail.
