Hello - tricky start
Hi i'm new to this forum. I didn't realise that i had to write an introductory note.
I posted a recommendation for one of my suppliers but it was removed (presumed to be junk/spam because i hadn't done this intro post).
I'm a 2nd time married mum of 3 (9,3,1) and we foster children of all ages, specialising in emergency/short term care. We live in th North of Scotland, in a semi rural area. I'm a stay at home mum and my husband works as a computer engineer. I have one child with mild autism and one being assessed for ADHD.
I'm open to any questions and try to get onto the computer most evenings, as apart from going to the gym its one of my forms of relaxation!!!

Hi Trisha and welcome to the site
We have details regarding posting of URLs in our FAQ section of the site and unfortunately as you merely made the one post recommending another site it is against our forum rules (the only time this rule may be changed is if admin is emailed regarding this first). If you saw the amount of SPAM we get on a daily basis you would realise why we have had to make this rule!
This is a great friendly community through and I hope that you enjoy posting here.

Hi Trisha I am a sahm to my 3 monsters (5, 2 and 1). I have worked for a few years specialising in special needs kids, but have one (and a suspected 2nd) with the label "gifted and talented."!!
Welcome to the group, I have only been a member for a few days, but am so glad I joined as everyone here is really friendly and you really can ask them anything!!!! No one here seems to judge you and everyone offers support and advice when needed!!
Enjoy the holidays...... :hysterica :paerty:

Thank you all for the warm welcome.
Just a quick visit. Busy day tomorrow - Kids at my sisters and i've a training course with Social Work for "handling Special needs kids". Saying that it'll be more relaxing for me than today with Kids to creche at leisure centre, others to Holiday workshops, Swimming & the gym!!!! that actually is a fairly normal day really, just swap the holiday workshop for school!!!
I'm looking forward to having the change to sitting down and have a right good chat with you all.
Is it quite busy on here in the evenings?
