Contact seller ask for a refund, if that fails you will have to try for a refund via paypal if you used it or finally ebay

I always check if I think things are copies and I never buy them. If you paid by paypal then you have to log into your paypal account and open a dispute with them, they'll sort it for you.

Haven't you kept your winning emails? You probably will get your money back from Paypal but Ebay won't consider it.

Ebay will help to a certain extend Alison and you will only get your money back from paypal if the seller has any money in their paypal account! We were awarded a full refund from someone at christmas but he didn't have enough in his paypal account so he still owes us £20!!

Ebay must have changed then. A couple of years back me, my husband and a couple of thousand other people bought some DVDs from a guy called Zippymilk. He told us he was selling his shop and that was why he listed so many DVDs. He then informed everyone that his dad was very ill and would we mind being patient for a little while. Most people agreed but the DVDs never arrived. We ended up setting up an action group and took it to the police but they couldn't get enough evidence to prosecute him. Ebay were no use at all to us (or the police) as the DVDs were under a certain amount of money. Some of the action group members went to his house and took pictures of a brand new sports car on the driveway. My husband and I lost £30 but it was worked out that he must have netted approximately £30,000 off us all. Now I only sell on Ebay, I would never buy.
