Been away a while

Sorry I havent joined in much lately but things have been mad here.

My poor site was all ready to launch at the start of October, then wham! Dh has had to have an operation on his knee, he has a leg brace and crutchs so isnt really mobile, so Ive been working full time and trying to do shopping and cleaning the lot, so needless to say the site never got launched (again).

Well that op turned out to produce more bad news and now it seems he may need a full knee replacement doing so will be off his feet for a long time yet. Oh and this weeks going swimmingly too, I now have both kids off school very poorly with swine flu both on Tamiflu. Give me strength! :cheesy:

So I will try harder to post, but right now I'm a bit of a read and run person, sorry.

I so totally know what this feels like. DH has had a few ops where news seemed to get worse with every hospital appointment - so many times I felt like just collapsing in a pile!

I hope that hes recovering ok from his op & that you are doing ok - try not to do too much (something I made the mistake of when my DH had his ops).

Hope your children recover fast from the flu too!

I know when I was pregnant and DH fractured his ankle and couldn't walk I thought I'd throttle someone!

Try to rest as much as you and shout if anyone on here can help you out a bit.

Thanks everyone. My poor mum has it now! Seems to spread very fast and come on very fast too.

I'm off to work in half an hour and I'm sat here thinking shall I call in sick? Just my luck to fib then go down with it next week though! :cheesy:
