I'm sorry lizzie. My SIL had to have her dog put down today and she is totally devestated, she rescued him from a pup and he is so old now and blind (one eye was removed last year) ... pets are part of your family and I am sorry you will be losing some of yours. We have a tortoise and she's hardly any trouble at all, apart from eating all my flowers in the summer !

((hugs))) for your sister , it is hard but can't stay in this house forever , its 6 bedroomed and with 3 kids with special needs the cleaning is grinding me down and 3 left home its just to big for us , only got 5 at home now , and of course dh :hysterica

So sorry to hear of this Lizzie, it must be heart-breaking for you. What pets do you have? Will you be able to find homes for them yourself? Or can we do anything to help?

awww thanks , we have gecko's and snakes the gecko's are going this week
