Hi - I'm new here too. I've got a dd aged 16 months, and as well as working part time I've just set up a new baby gift website. I thought I was busy, but 4 kids - wow that sounds hectic.
Looking forward to chatting with you!

Hi,
I have five children and live in Bristol. We also have a power kite at which I am rubbish. The first time dh flew it, he was dragged by his heels across a large field, ploughing two substantial furrows in the process and came gently to rest on his back, the kite still in the air, much to the amusement of hysterically laughing onlookers. He's improved since then, thank goodness, so now I don't have to wear the paper bag whenever we take the kite out!

HI all just wanted to appologise for not posting in a while but my mum has been very ill so have not had much time to spend on pc. She is doing great now so thought i'd catch up and update my hello thread ( had forgotten i'd started it "Doh" )
Anyway we have moved since i last posted on this thread we have finally been given a permanant house after living in temporary accomadation ( a three bed sardine tin more like) and are now living in a massive four bed house.
We are a family of animal lovers but living in temp accomadation we weren't allowed pets so making up for that now. We have a cat, one hamster, two mice, two chinchilla and five african land snails. Most have which we have rescued.
I have experiance in most things in life and having suffered with depression I am finally getting my life back on track. I do still suffer with anxiety and agrophobia but am gradually with the help of my husband getting over that to.
hope to get to know you all better soon

hi storm35 and and thanks for the welcome.
Well I have just spent a long weekend with my mum who is doing really well looks like they have finally got her on the correct medication for her parkinsons and she is better now than before she was diagnosed.
After spending a fantastic weekend with her and to be honest it was great having a bit of me time without the kids although I did miss them terribly, but have come back feeling like a new woman with new hairdo
On the way home the train broke down in newton abbott so had to wait for another one. the next train was jam packed so had to stand ( been a long journey by now) then we arrived in plymouth only to be told we would be transferred to a coach for the rest of the journey. The reason i went by train in the first place was because A) I've not passed my driving test and B) I HATE coaches with a passion . Well not wanting to make a fuss I got on the coach and spent the next 2 hours concentrating hard on not vomiting ( i'm the worlds worst traveller when it comes to coaches topped with that it was the most uncomfortable coach I have ever been forced to go on lol.
So today I have a bad neck
But it was worth it to see my mum looking soooo good.
