Hi Everyone

Please bear with me as I am quite new to this. Always lurking but that's it. I am a Registered Childminder and will be stopping that soon and in the mean time I am looking for something different. I finally found something and will be selling mostly baby and children clothes & equipment and then also a little bit of other everyday things needed at home. Right now I paid for a domain and website is far from ready yet as got just lots of things that I wont be selling but need to redo my design and business name. I loved the name Bubbaloo so registered the domain but now feel that it needs to be more than just Bubbaloo.

Can anyone give my any ideas to match that as the domain is paid for already so even if I add anything to Bubbaloo I can still keep my domain.

Any ideas helpful and since I am now in a new venture I will be on here more often for advice and just a chat.

Thanks

Sorry - don't think you are being ignored just that not many people come into this section between midnight and 9am!

I love the name Bubbaloo, and with the range of products you are planning to sell I'm not sure I could suggest something to go with it. If it was just baby and children things that maybe it would be easuer but I'm not sure what you mean by other everyday things needed at home.

Ooh sorry that was rude of me, please accept my apologies. :blusingan
Basically the company that is helping me with the website side of things have electronics and Wii games and few computer things. But thinking of it now I am not going to sell that anymore I am just going to sell kids stuff.
So any suggestions welcome.

Thanks

It wasn't rude. Don't worry.

Makes it easier, and will make your business look less convoluted if you stick to baby and kids things so I'm sure that is the right decision. I'm just popping out to a nappy demo but will have a think later.

isn't (or wasn't) Bubbaloo a bubble gum? It is a great name but you might get into copyright issues or trade marks or something.

Ooops

Ok now I definitely need some help. Can I stick with the domain and just add something on.
What I will be selling is baby clothes and equipment. and children clothes and gifts.

So anything cool that goes with Bubbaloo?

Thanks for letting me know.

I dont think its your deprived childhood lol its more that maybe it wasnt sold in the UK. I am not British and we had it for many years in our country

I kinda knew thats why I liked the name but didnt think of the legal side of it. Really silly, was a last minute decision or more one made in haste. But I loved the idea of the Bubbaloo Gum as its liquid inside and just very juicy taste unlike other gum.

and what if I had it just as Bubba Loo, would that make any parent think of Loo's (toilets) in general? Or Bubba Loo Kids?

There is a programme on Cbeebies called Waybuloo, it makes me think of that.

I think Bubbaloo is really nice personally. Have you checked that its a registered trademark in the UK? You can check here:

How about BubbalooBaby? Keeps the name, says more about what you do.

I was going to suggest the same- I like bubbaloo, it has a nice sound to it, but wasn't keen on splitting the word, ie Bubba loo- it does make me think of toilets written like that, sorry :cheesy:

BubbalooBaby has a nice alliterative ring to it!

Hi

Thanks for the suggestions. Because I am aiming at not just babies would BubbalooBaby limit me?
I kind of had to make up my mind for my logo to be created and I chose Bubba Loo Cutie Coo
What does everyone thinks? I was thinking about the Loo (toilet) things but then thought it had a nice ring with Cutie Coo meaning I am not limiting myself with just the adorable babies.
Honest opinions cos I am sure seeing that i am paying for all of this to be set up that i can change my mind at least one more time.
