Anyone still doing this?

My sink is shiney still but the rest of the house looks like a bomb site due to unpacking and holiday washing/clutter.

I think I need a plan {and a skip}.

Today I will;

1. Tidy the bedroom = done.
2. Empty the last bits out of the cases so dh can put them back in the loft = done.
3. Re-group the dirty washing because it doesn't look like much can go out on the line due to the weather= done.
4. Book bloodtest and an appointment with the nurse.
5. Ring the window people about the back door.

You sound very much like me! I gather bits and pieces up and sit them below the loft hatch for DH to shove up there for when he gets home! Today it's Charlotte's school summer dresses, she won't be needing them no longer till next year!

I try but I just can't fit it in around running a business from home and being a single parent :-) It makes me feel exhausted and inadequate!

I'm back in Spain, arrived a couple of days ago after a month away and OMG I need the fly lady! DH 'Thing 3' has been looking after everything here in my absence. He is usually fairly good at household things but it was exceptionally hot here last week so very little got done, and I now don't know where to start.
I've already done 9 loads of washing and a tonne of ironing and there's still more to do. DD 'Thing 2's' bedroom is a no go area.
Everything outside is also covered in a fine layer of sand as its been windy. The garden is overgrown or dead. Aaaaaaargh!!!! Fly lady help!!

:hysterica Keep your pins to yourself lady! I like things to be clean and tidy but I am not obsessive. Because of my arthritis, I do what I can when I can and feel chuffed if I accomplish anything at the moment. Dh tells me to leave it and he will do it and he is really good but I feel useless sitting around like a lemon.

My sinks still shiny. I love the fly lady I get her email updates and she inspires me to me a better domestic goddess. I'd still rather be in the shed melting glass though lol.
