Photos of the Shop - nearly there!

I don't know if it's been the longest shop opening in history but it must be close :hysterica

BUT

We are nearly there. No stock in these as I wanted some nearly done ones before it goes in this weekend.

Bear in mind the todder garden isn't finished or laid out properly, there is a sign missing, the wall has been repolished up and the bits are all over the place. Plus the fence has been painted too now with a blue stripe to match my branding. I will update these when the stock is in anyway.

So here you go, I am over the moon and LOVE my new shop.

I owe a lot to the people that helped me put this together and I would say the success of a shop is 70% down to getting the right people in. We've all become really close and I've assured them that when I open up my stores abroad I will allow them to fit it out lol.

The wall system is great, it's the same system that the Disney flag ship store in London uses. I owe that gem to the chap who designed the layout. The till logos are actually embossed and play area green wall (which both don't come out well in photos) are by Becky and are Italian polished plaster, they are AMAZING up close especially the green wall which is really shiny as it's coated in bees wax. The floor was found by Gus who's talented lot created the purpose built window displays and the desk was by another company who did the shelves, wall panels and gondolas so it all ties in. Ironically the floor is industrial quality so you can stamp on it, walk on it constantly, do anything practially to it EXCEPT put water on it!!!!

When it all went wrong everyone mucked in to put it right for me, they took such pride in the project which is why I think it looks so fab. And of course the designers I use who have really brought the whole thing in line with my branding. Just the website to get live now :)

I will pass on the feedback from here to them because I know they will appreciate it.

Yes but at the very top end, we've got one of the bigger shops on the street which at the other end would have cost us about 3 times the price. Plus most of those shops won't even talk to an independent which is a shame. It's a gorgeous little shopping town and always really busy.

Looks absolutely brilliant - think the play area will be a ticket to ££ rolling in - none of the High Street multiples down the road will have that so you'll win the business as people will have longer to shop = spend more

No matter how prepared I was on opening both shops we were still all up at a silly times before opening night, getting last minute bits done!
