I wanted to include a Reuters news article on my website which is relevant to the product I will be selling. I had a look to see how much it would cost to reprint it, it was $500 a month :smiley-fa: Hmm so it seems that option is out.

I was just wondering if there is a way of getting around this. Can I get away with rewriting the story, saying 'it was reported by Reuters that..' or is this breach of copywright?

Its all very confusing.

I posted a NY times article on my website, I wrote a tiny bit about it and then added a link, hopefully copyright OK as very confusing

I still havent figured this out, so if you just post a link its ok? Its a very confusing area.

A link should be fine, but some news organisations are claiming just a few words from their article is now breach of copyright

I would have thought that would fall into the "fair use" category, but the courts think otherwise.

Wow that seems very over the top.
