Hope that makes sense.

I want to start a new info website that will basically be a lising of lots of short articles that will need to be grouped into categories, general news updates, a shopping directory and a diary.

I think that for ease, a blog would be best? Any suggestions as to which is best?

I have used typepad in the past and was happy with it apart from the charge and we currently use wordpress which I am happy with but just wondered if anyone had any better ideas?

Thanks

Axx

100% wordpress, self hosted :)
It's the most flexible imho and the plugins are great.

Something else that might work is Joomla, it is set up as a series of categories and articles so may be worth a look. Coochie Cou is a Joomla site.

I'd probably say wordpress. We use it for our endometroisis support site which is articles and it works extremely well. (Though Dh keeps it up to date and not me LOL).
