He bought a jacobs ladder (http://www.knotjustjigs.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=20&products_id=166&osCsid=369ebbacbaaba791fba0343f12f1e5e3) for his grandson :party05: Does that mean i can get a royal stamp of approval? :cheesy:

Ewwww, get you!

How did the event go? The weather was terrible here for the first half of the day so I kept thinking of you since you weren't far away.

The event went really well considering the weather! I can only assume as the event was attended by farmers and horsey peeps that they were used to it,they came geared up for the torrential rain/wind/storms! It was colder than some events i have done in Nov/Dec!

Well done and how nice for you! :clapping: - but (and please don't take this wrongly) should you really be publicising the full information on a public forum? What if the grandson reads this forum... spoils the surprise. Also customer information, do you not think it should be confidential what they spent?
I don't tell anyone who my customers are but they DO include some famous people who use washable nappies on their babies AND one or two use menstrual products. I'd think I could offend if I typed 'blah blah uses a mooncup' :cheesy:
I'd think perfectly acceptable to just delete the specifics of which Royal.

LOL Miranda the grandson was a lo so not likely to be reading the forum also the fact that the "assistant" following him was telling all and sundry very very publically who he was and what he had bought wasnt very discreet but i do take your point.

Come on then....spill! :hysterica oh, excuse pun, not intended!

Seriously though, I have no idea who the royal person is - but I imagine he has lots of nose and very little chin like the rest of them. :cheesy:

I'm sure Ketty wouldn't post it on here if it was a confidential issue...?

Mwhahaha I'd be 'bl**dy' (!) silly to let it spill, just imagine the bother I'd be in if it got into eg The Sun. Only a minor famous now, was a bit more famous a few years back , bit out of the limelight and not royal, not as good as Ketty's buyer really. And that's all I'm saying!

I dont think there is anything wrong with saying who bought what in a public place, somewhat different to saying who has bought menstrual products from a web site.

erm well actually this particular lady bought the Mooncup at a 'green' event, not through the website. I only knew who it was because she looked familiar and I kept thinking I knew her from somewhere and assumed I'd sold her nappies, so commented to this effect and wondered why she laughed (no babies!); her friend put me straight.:blusingan

I find it so frustrating when someone famous buys from you because of not being able to tell. I have had a couple and burst with wanting to tell someone. I had an MBE this week create an account but sadly they didn't continue with the sale but had to tell a couple of people on another forum about it - didn't mention any names but I so wanted to.

It so lifts your spirits. As Dawn said, Ketty wouldn't post if it was supposed to be terribly confidiential.

:cheesy: did you crawl under the table.

She was mega nice and said she was glad I didn't recognise her, as she liked to be able to shop and go places unhindered and incognito (she evidently likes shopping !). Have to say that, like the Queen, she was shorter IRL than I thought
