Border Terriers

Does anyone have a Border Terrier? If so would you recommend the breed?
A mate of DH has got a pregnant bitch at the moment. If the puppies are born safely I think hubbie would like us to have one.
We used to have a Staffy,but she had to be put down last year :(

I have heard that Border Terriers are not recommended with young children because of their temperaments.

Says on there they are good with children..lol..totally different to what I have been told!!

Border terriers hate my oldes ds, everytime one sees him in the street they go for his ankles straight away and he doesent even speak to them, have been walking down the street with him before when one has just launched itself at his ankles, I found it hilarious but he didnt, lol

I think we'll just wait and see if and when these puppies are born and make a decision then:unsure:
