How do you arrange yours?
Yesterday i decided to traffic light mine as i am sick of getting distracted and not completing important stuff.

red = urgent do today
orange = important do in the next couple of days, then becomes red after 2 days
green = needs doing but can wait upto a week by which time it will then become orange! (then red)

I just use a highlighter pen to colour in, am i the only one that has lost the plot :hysterica

That's a really good idea! I'm big on lists, just not so good at getting stuff done :cheesy:

Did the system work? Were you super-organised?

I'm much the same as you.

I love using colours in my to do lists, I like to be able to just glance and know what kind of a week is coming up.

Although I never seem to be prepared for everthing........!!!!!LOL

I don't do lists - maybe I should - I'd get my finger out more then...!

Saying that, I did jot down a to-do list yesterday - I had 5 things that I had to do or make a start on yesterday. I did them all, and am going to finish one of them today (the newsletter).

I also made a list of things to do today and have only managed one so far.

I think I will start making lists, because it really helped yesterday :happy72:

I don't usually make lists but do like your idea. I have made a list for the baby fair on Saturday, but it is more of an ideas/planning thing so I don't forget anything or panic on the day with setting my stand up!

I just tend to write them all down in a list - I have one for Bookkeeping clients, one for Web Clients and one for each of my companies. If something is really urgent I'll put a star beside it. I've abandoned my paper lists because it was getting so long and I wasl osing them, and have gone back to writing on the white board. :-)

I use Microsoft Outlook for my emails and I like the task facility in it.

You can set pop - up reminders that I often do.

I have a separate Family to-do list that I write every Sunday night and it get's stuck on the fridge - it's more a reminder of who should be where and what they need to remember to bring!

I do like my lists, but unfortunately them seem to be growing not shrinking!

Hi

I have a very special system.

I write a very long list, sitck it in an obvious place and ignore it for several weeks until i realise the the thing at the top has to be done the next day and have to spend all day doing that.

It's a good system :happy72:

My work list however is written on a large whiteboard next to my desk split into clients and then in different colours In order of priority or colour coded to how much i am going to swear when doing somthing. :D
