Hiya!
Just been intoduced to mumszone! there's some great topics for discussion.
I've just got out of hospital after going into premature labour twice!! at 24 weeks pregnant. The drug they use to stop the contractions didn't work and things just died down as my body was so o o o tired!
Has anyone been through a similar experience? Could you give me some advice or just share some personal tips as it would make me feel a bit more positive towards my feelings with this pregnancy.
Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the site. Sorry to hear about the terrible time you have been having. I had a friend that with through this with each of her pregnancies and although she did end up in early labour with all of them they were all born healthy and quickly gained weight.

hi im linda mum to dd age 7 :sign16:
I had my dd at 31 weeks and she had to stay in hosp for 6 weeks..i didn't go into labour tho..there was a lady who had her baby at 32weeks cos she went in to prem labour.the baby was fine but they couldn't stop the labour and it would have been too risky to have a natural delivery,(we both had c section..infact i was just on the op table waiting for my epidural when the midwife came in to see if we started yet cos they had an emergency....'she' was the emergency) her baby also stayed in hosp for 6 weeks, they were room mates...both babies were/are fine..they were just small...mine was 3lb 5oz and the other baby was 3lb 11oz....they are both doing well. five months old and 11lb 8oz..(think my son was 6 weeks old when he weighed that much. lol)

Hi whassat!
Thanks for replying. If you don't mind me asking, why did you end up having your baby at 31 weeks? With my other 5 pregnancies the same happend, but this time I am later in my pregnancy and they couldn't stop it! It just stopped by itself. I feel more confident now that I've had the course of injections for the babys' lungs and have been trying to settle myself for another while.
Hope to talk to you soon

Hi Lambkins.

I had my baby early, (won't go into too much detail cos still difficult to talk about)..because she was a twin..we lost her sister at 18 weeks gestation..will prob talk about soon..xxx
what was the earliest you delivered at? (does that make sense??) were your babies delivered a full term?
