One for the bloggers here.
If you have a quick look at my blog (link below), you'll see that I've posted a link to an article on associatedcontent.com. Now, naturally I'd love to be able to copy and past said article, and provide a link to it underneath the article. Is this allowed?
I did just that with the Times Online article "Do you invite the whole class to the birthday party?".
Any advice please??
TIA

Not sure how correct this is but what I do sometimes with the blog is to take the first para or two of an article, or write a precis of it, provide the link to the full article and make sure it is obvious who wrote the article.
I tend to do this with the larger, news sites though but I do take the view that the worst anyone would do is send me an email telling me to take it down. After all, I am not passing it off as my work and they are getting a link back to their site.
And now someone is going to come along and hit me with a really big stick.

I agree, as long as it is referenced I'm sure its ok... I think that the worst that would happen is someone would ask you to take it down... I had a :cheesy: moment a little while ago though as I'm quoted on an Austalian nursery's websie like I'm an expert!

I do the same as Arabella but I don't do always do a proper link, I often just put from dailymail.co.uk for example so it doesn't take people off of the blog too easily.

Thanks girls - I think I'll do a precis of the article, and post a link to the article itself. That way you get all the keywords in, whilst not passing the work off as your own.
