Hi,
Does anyone know where I can buy mugs or cups and saucers at a reasonable price but good quality?
I need about 20 to put into our new office but I want them to be 'modern' not just plain white. If I didn't need to many I'd choose Emma Bridgewater of Cath Kidston but it adds up when you times it by 20!!!
They need to make a statement about the business (and because I have a 'thing' about nice mugs) so need to look good!
Thanks
Vicki

I know it sounds odd but have to tried the charity shops?
There is always nice vintage tea cups and saucers in ours.
Ive statred collecting them! one of our sellers collects them and makes candles out of them. They are fab very 'in' and cheap!

OOOH I love mugs too, I love these (http://www.johnlewis.com/230214285/Product.aspx) not too expensive a nice mugs go and don't forget you can put them against your tax bill as they're a requisite of the business.
I think these (http://www.heals.co.uk/New-Crockery/Crazy-Daisy-Breakfast-Cup+Saucer-by-Portmeirion/invt/811849?source=affiliatewindow) are gorgeous tea cups and saucers too

Pink Fairy Cake (a WAHM!) had some lovely ones... she's only got this listed now http://www.pinkfairycake.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=14&products_id=120 but I'm sure she can get more / tell you about the other ones she had if you are interested

How about Marks and Spencers? Do you have a card for Makro? They have some lovely ones at times. Whittards do nice ones also.
I got some quite nice handpainted ones very cheap in Sainsbury's the other day. I don't buy expensive ones any more as I have a very clumsy husband!

Can you put them through the dishwasher if you handpaint them yourself but don't put them through a kiln?

Wilkinsons is good for mugs, I don't think they are worth spending money on unless they are something like Denby
