Oh, not another one!!! It's happened so many times. Why do they live the kids and the dogs unsupervised? So tragic. sick123123

Thing is it is much easier to get a stupid little Jack Russel off of a child than a dog with such a strong Jaw. Why do people leave children alone such powerful animals.

Like i say im not going to get into the debate of dogs as its been done many a time on here and tbh i can see both sides even from rescuing staffs and having a pitbull as a pet myself
just a sad situation all round

Exactly my thoughts. It happens time and time again. I cannot even begin to imagine what I would be like if something happened to my little one. I think I would just want to die, to be honest.

No child should be left alone with ANY dog, especially a breed that is known for these attacks, (its like all these poor babies are dying in vain because no one seems to learn a lesson from it, its a case of My dog wouldnt do that...Until they do...why risk it, they are your babies ffs.) They are animals and should be treated as such, they are not a member of the family, if they are treated like that then they will get jelous and will attack for attention.
Im sick of it, I think maybe the parents should start getting prosocuted. The warnings are there, yet they still leave children alone with them...it makes me so mad!

basically what I was gonna say.
I don't even like Abi being left with the cats and kittens, She's alreay had one scratch, and she was sat on SIL lap at the time.

DD3 is only just reaching an age now (7) where I will let her be alone in the same room as our King Charles Spaniel and he is the softest thing going - even then I am still wary, not because I think he will go for her but because you can never 100% trust any dog.
I have read this story and from the way it reads the baby was left alone in a room with these dogs and the grandmother came in to find they had attacked. It's irrelevant what breed it is, young children and dogs should NEVER be left in a room alone together.

Unbelievable to think anyone would leave a baby alone with any dog breed, poor little mite, my heart goes out to his parents.
