Hi

I hope this is the right place to post.

My name is J and I am 31, I have a daughter who is four and a partner who is (deleted due to me wanting to survive the day). Despite being called mumszone i hope you let dads in as well smiledance.

I am a website designer who has just re-launched my business (Silver Squid Designs) after a brief break. I specialise in web sites, hosting, management and most importantly to me advice.
I currently run my business from home alongside my partners. Which makes for some interesting debates on who is going to be doing the washing up, but means I get to spend time with my family?

I much prefer working with Small businesses as I have no stomach for the corporate approach. I enjoy being able to cultivate a good working relationship with people, even sometimes if it is at the expense of a "sale". Over the years this has worked well for me and I have a few of old clients who even though don’t host with me always pay for my advice.

Also I tend to like a good chat :cheesy:

Well that’s enough of an advert; I look forward to spending a bit of time on the forum and nattering.

Cheers

J

Hello and welcome,

We have a few dads in here and yes, it is perfectly alright for dads to join.

I hope you have fun with us. There are a lot of people here who are running businesses from home and they all seem keen on give advice and to help one another.

Okay, I'm Victoria and have a 3 and a half week baby boy. I live in London with my husband and I'm currently a mature student although I'm probably going to be deferring my course so that I can give all my attention to my child throughout his first few months.

Look forward to getting to meet you.

Hi & welcome to MZ :)

I am also a web developer - I work from home with my DH (he joined the business last year after 6 years of working on my own!), however I am not sure I'd ever get him onto one of these forums :D
