I did it, I found the bottom of my wash basket. ***party** It really does have a bottom to it, it does not go all the way to Australia as I previously thought.
So I would like to :thanks: my washer and dryer for there supporting roles, I would not have been able to do it without them.
I would also like to :thanks: dh and dds as without them I would not have had the full washing basket therefore I would not have had anything to do all day. :hysterica

Dont have ironing basket, iron as I need things as the girls can never decide what to wear, so always try every outfit on then stuff them back in the drawer. So dont see the point of ironing until they decide what to wear.
Well done Wookkies - must be because its the start of spring lol

Sorry don't beleive you, now if you were to come and demonstrate on mine, I might be able to see it is true. Can I just ask, if you don't have an ironing pile, where do you put the clothes when they come off the line but before they are needed to wear? Asking because DH said if I ironed them straight away as and when they were dry I would not have to worry about having an ironing basket. He is the one with a rolling pin embedded in his head...

They are folded straight away and put in the relevant persons clothes drawers. I then iron the school uniforms on sunday nite ready for mon morning, when the girls decide what they are going to wear on a weekend I then iron it for them. That way when they empty all the clothes out trying to find an outfit then shove it back, I only have to iron once.
DH irons all his own clothes so I dont have to worry about him.
ps I really would like to demonstrate but I have just sat down with a cuppa and choccie biscuit so maybe another day.
