Hi All

Firstly huge apologies I haven't been back on here since before Christmas.

But its got to the dreaded time of year, the tax return *groan*

I wish I earn't enough to have an accountant!!

Please can someone help me with this question,

Did you receive any UK pensions, annuities or state benefits, for example, state pension, occupational pension, retirement annuity, incapacity benefit?

Yes/No answer,

I think its No, but what about child benefit is that counted as a state benefit?

Sorry to ask I'm rubbish with these official things, scared of making a mistake.

Thanks ever-so-much.

Will be back joining in very soon :party05:

AFAIK Child Benefit isn't classed as a State Benefit and I don't think my Accountant has ever detailed it on our tax return, but I'm sure one of the other WAHM's will have a more definite answer for you

child benefit is classed as income as far as the student loan company are concerned btw, probably irrelevant to tax returns, but thought I'd let you know.
