We had a bit of snow last night but not much and the mountains look lovely (hope it stays just on them though:cold1: )
Working a slighlty longer day today - 9 - 3.30 and we are suppossed to have the delivery this afternoon but not sure where it is being bought in as they are digging up Mostyn Street in front of the shp and it is one way only and it will be horrible if it come in the back as it means I will be doing a lot of running to get the stock to the upstairs (that is if it comes on time and not around 4 then oh dear I'll miss it:crossfing )
It is also the St Davids concert at Cam's school which I will miss but to be honest I'm not bothered as they use it to show what they are do8ng in the comps and it gets very boring

1st March already, i don't know where January and February went. Hopefully this is the month when I move house, if only the b****y electrician would hurry up and get the electrical certificate sent out to us. There's always someone holding it all up.

Happy St David's Day!! Must remember to ring my nan to wish her it as well!! March got off to a great start, havent been feeling great so struggled to get out of bed, OH got up 1st to find the dog had an accident in the night, then the kids got up so he had to do breakfast, so when I got up I was blamed for all that is wrong with the world. So Ive decided not to do any cleaning today, at least then when he comes home & moans at me, it'll actually be for something I havent done, instead of nothing (does that make sense?), instead Im gonna drop eldest DD at school, then will take youngest DD for a stroll to our local craft shop, walking there & back should take a couple of hours, & that'll be it for me today. Hope everyone else has a good day, & that it isnt too cold!!
I don't blame you Lisa, make the most of today.
Happy St. Davids day.
It's my dd's parents evening tonight so i'm hoping that she's getting on ok. My mum is finishing work early to look after the kids while i go. They are going to spend their world book day voucher and have a macdonalds.
It's really cold here again today and i am going to stay in until i go to fetch the kids and go to parents evening.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Freezing here again, made sure I had my wooly hat on when I walked the kids to school.
Eldest is starting swimming lessons today, she will go every morning for 3 weeks, she is a little worried about it. Have told her she will be fine and to try and enjoy it.
Staying in until I have to go back to school, too cold to be going out. Need to do some baking later anyway as dh and kids complaining that all the cakes and buns have gone.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, know snow here but still freezing cold.
Well had a bad start to the morning kids drove me absolutely mad not doing as they were told and shouting at each other. They all got a telling off before we set off for school so we walked the whole way in silence. Hopefully they will come out of school in better moods.
DD loved swimming yesterday and is excited today about going again.
Got loads to do but cannot be bothered so going to camp out at my friends for the afternoon. I've officially gone on strike.

Em, glad he got home ok hun.
Jo (Inch), U should have hung the washing out hun, cos i got 2 loads dry! :tcwozerek ha ha ha
Jo (WG) :crossfing 4 ur weigh-in hun
We've had 2 go2 locks heath twice 2day, cos 1 of D's kids got herself a little corsa that she asked dh 2 check over & take in 4 MOT. Well when we got there he was dubious as it has a dented front bumper & radiator, chips in the windscreen, & driving it back 2 r house it sounded sooo ropey, that we didnt think it would make it! Also the engine-management warning light came on-& stayed on!....Which basically means a lot of money.
So dh decided it wasnt worth it as the owner wanted £500 4 it. But cos of how much it would cost 2 get through the mot on top of the cost 2 buy it, we took it back.
Only prob now is having 2 tell her, cos she's only just passed her test & it was going 2 be her 1st car 2006sorry

mum came over, and slept on the sofa so that was fun, but the time she was awake she played with the kids so i did get some bits done around the house,

Madam's school was shut - anounced on the radio but cam's was open for a bit.
Went to work and hopped they would cancel the delivery but no such luck so guess who was bringing it in while it was snowwing - yep me and it was a lot harder as we had to bring it in via the back enterance imstead of the front which is easier due to roadworks.
In for the night due to the weather.:cold1:

Hello everyone. Sorry I haven't been on in ages.
Quick up date with what has been happening at the mad house.
Wednesday - I had an appointment to see DS2 SENCO and class teacher. I had no idea why SENCO wanted to see me, probably about why I haven't been doing his spellings etc with him at night. Well I am sorry for wanting to spend time socialising with my son instead of trying to condition him to spell words by rote!!!! In my professional opinion LOL he is not ready to attempt spellings yet - believe me I was ready for her and was looking forward to ripping her to pieces LOL ( God I'm evil at the mo!)
Well the appointments were at 5.50pm and 6.20pm. 5.45pm DH ( I say DH with tongue in cheek!) was still not home from work even though I had told him that I had to be at DS2 school. I text him, rang his phone etc - no answers!!!!!!!!
6.30pm he strolls in " Hi everyone, ok?" I was so angry I told him off like a little kid. you know the stuff " where have you been etc " He had been to get some radiator paint. AAARRRGGGHHHHHHH PRIORITIES!!!!!!!!!!20061008
He had made me look like an uncaring parent who is not interested in her child's education. All he could say was " I'm sorry, I forgot!" Why is it ok for men to forget about events etc that are happening to their children????20061008
Well anyway he has been sucking up for the past couple of days.
Oh my other news is .........
I have got two job interviews on Monday!!!!! Hopefully I will be able to get one of them.:crossfing
Well that's me done for March so far.........

Dd is off school today as she's been up since 4am being sick and she's got diarrhoea(sp). She hasn't been sick since about half seven so i'm hoping it's just a mild bug and that she's over the worst of it. I hope she'll have a nap later so i can catch up on a bit of sleep.
Ds went to school moaning as dd is off but this is her first day off since she started school.
Hope everyone has a good day.

other than that not doing much else other then popping on the pc occassionally between chores (an excuse to stop for a while.

I was really looking forward to some blizzards that we were promised. I can't remember the last time we had some decent snow - you know the kind - the sort that causes snow drifts. Well we have had another lazy day. I tidied up, did the washing, changed the beds, cooked dinner (Mmmmmm was a complete success) and then we have watched DVD's all cuddled up on the sofa and chairs under fleece blankets. sat we went to gloucester, and saw the family, didn't go and see bobs nan which was nice, saw his middle sis, and stayed for a few hours, the baby has grown so much, but he is such a wingey baby, and only wants his mum, he's only 4 months, i know people have their own way but i just think its bad, she just sits there holding him all the time,
for once they didn't swear infront of the kids, and if they did they said sorry, so didn't have to make my excuses and run lol
sunday, we went for a walk round the local car boot, bearing inmind it started of very sunny yeaterday, when we were leaving it got bitterly cold, and when we got in the car it started to snow, felt so sorry for my babies, BAD MUMMY, went to do the food shopping, then came home, and spent the day with bob and the kids, after such a busy weekend, we were all in bed by 7pm lol,
lots of cleaning to do today, and yes another 3 full baskets of washing, have also found 2 black bags wrth of clothes that don't fit the kids anymore, so i think e-bay might be in order could do with the money lol,

There's no snow here, just LOTS of rain and wind. Both the girls have the cold so we're staying in all wrapped up so not up to much at all today except washing and cleaning.
Christine decided not to sleep in mum's on Saturday night, she was very happy when we left but we got a phone call about 10, she wasn't upset or anything - we'd told her that if she wanted to just let us know. We'll try again soon because she wasn't really herself (the cold was working on her).
Went to see granda in the hospital yesterday, he was taken back in last week with another infection in his foot. He was in the year Christine was born and ended up losing his little toe and the infection is much worse this time, we're all praying it doesn't come to it but it looks like he's going to lose his foot.

Not had the greatest couple of days really.Went to The Mall to do some shopping yesterday morning then realized i was wearing two different pairs of boots. The stupid thing was one had a heel on and the other was flat so how did i not notice.
After toddlers went to pick ds up from school.DD was in the pushchair without the straps on and decided to have a tantrum, flinging herself out of the chair and falling really awkwardly. She said her knee hurt and then wanted to be carried everywhere once we got home. She seemed to be able to stand on it okay so i wasnt too worried, even if she wouldnt walk.
Last night i went with my cousin to see Simon Peters ( from Most Haunted) and that was funny but i just felt he was clutching at straws really.DH assured me dd was fine.
When we got up this morning dd still refused to walk and even weightbear so off we went to the hospital for an x-ray.It's not broken ,just badly twisted.I dont know how much longer my back will hold out trying to lug dd around, she weighs a ton!

Well, we survived - just! Came very close to crying when she got the jabs but stopped myself, her wee leg is a bit swollen and red but she's currently curled up with her daddy taking a bottle so she's recovered. Granda got out of hospital so we're delighted, his foot has been giving him bother for a couple of years (he lost his little toe in 2003) and chances are he will lose it eventually but the longer he keeps it the better.
C gave dh a real fright tonight, I was upstairs and he was in the kitchen and she came into him and said I lift Katie. He ran into the living room and discovered that she had!!!! Think we'll be keeping a closer eye on her from now on...

I got called to go and pick her up at 7 tonight, they'd been drinking since early afternoon and had a food fight.... you should have seen the state of them!!!! I had mum in the back seat covered in chocolate tart and salad cream and one of the nurses in the front seat covered in coleslaw and brown sauce, both very drunk!!

:hysterica @ Colette's mom! You really sounded like the mom and she's the 11 y-o, did you know that?!
How's the weather there? Is it still snowing and freezing? But it can't be! I have a wall calendar here near my PC, which Sanjan sent me all the way from Wales, and it says here that on March 26, "summertime starts". And that's only a week away now so how can it still be snowing there?... :tcwozerek (OK, I know you girls can't reach out to spank me now nyah nyah nyah nyahhh...)
Well I'm half blind since this morning cos DH had laid down on my glasses and it's crushed. And the specs shop guy looked at me as if I just dropped from outer space when I shoved that crumpled thing for him to fix. Said I can only get it by 6pm so I'm feeling my way around now, and typing these posts with my face inches away from the screen.
DS is still not very well, pretty clingy and is throwing an outright tantrum all the time. Well what else is new. I'm so glad things have cooled down somewhat at work (well at least temporarily) and that I can finally come on here for longer rather than just for flying visits!
Kisses for all of you wonderful women at Mumszone! ""cutey""b
:hysterica at your mum Colette
Blueberry hope your specs are mended now and i'm glad things are calmer at your work.
The kids are at a birthday party at the moment it finishes at 1 so i hope they don't come back to hyper. Dh is at work until 6 so after the party we are going to get dh's homework done so we can have a relaxing day tomorrow.

:happy72: to your mum colette, sounds like she had a good time, lol
well got the front room tidied really well last night cos dh decided to move everything round but that involved having my computer off for hours, then when i turned it back on this morning my keyboard wouldnt work, so fiddled round at the back to make sure it was plugged in then after 3 hours realised the batteries were flat, but sorted it now, dh has took dd to town as she is off shopping with her friend, ds(16) is off bowling with his gf and m8 and gf's parents and family, so its just me and little ds:)

morning everyone,
well I have just noticed that the school uniforms are not in the wash and didnt wash them yesterday so the kids will probably think they can give me them at tea-time if i dont chase them up, anyway got one load in atm and probably just another couple to do, having toad in the hole for dinner for a change, kids seemed to enjoy themselves yesterday anyway on there outings, dd went shopping with her friend and bought a pair of socks for 2.99 from river island cos she wanted a river island bag, a diadora t-shirt from soccer sports because she wanted an addidas carrier bag, lol and a black hooded jumper from international for 7.99, then she said when she went back to international they had some in that said "am I bovvered!!", pleased she had spent her money then, anyway probably not a quiet day today cos mil an fil usually pop in to see little ds on a sunday afternoon, usually they come at the time when they no he is asleep, then moan about it, big ds has footy today and dd will probably be moaning cos her m8 goes to golf on a sunday so she will have no one to call for.

Colette ya mum sounds mad!!!
Explains a lot doesn't it!!!!
Did you get your glasses fixed BB? I'd be lost without mine!
Had a fun day yesterday, went down to see the new shop my sister is managing (not a shop exactly, it's a concession) it opened for the first time yesterday so they were running competitions all day. I entered and won £30 worth of clothes, was really delighted as they actually make clothes that fit my bust!!! I then treated myself to a gorgeous new pair of boots from Faith - the heels are sooooo high (and I never wear heels anymore!)
Dh took me out for dinner, food was gorgeous but service was terrible, won't go back there. Then we went to see a band in a pub nearby, they were really good but my feet were killing me - standing in new heels!!!

Yeah, I can see again now girls, thanks for asking. My glasses are all nicely fixed, and the guy at the specs shop gave me a pleading look when I went to pick my glasses up, as if to silently communicate - "don't let this thing happen again will ya?"
DS seems to be feeling better today. He's still pretty tired, but at least he ate a hearty lunch and about three quarters of a donut for dinner.
Colette you sound like you've been having a treat, what with new boots and clothes off your sister's concession and going on a date with DH... I think you deserve it, having to take care of two kids day in day out... All of my friends who had recently got their second babies were mentioning that life is so much harder when you have more than one kid so I'm like --> (very scared)...
I've noticed there are new emoticons around, and am just wondering what is this for --> :bfpbound:
OK, off to go play yahoo games now, tata... :tcwozerek ...

I don't have much of a problem washing school uniforms as I demand them on a friday after school so they can go in the machine along with my work trousers (as I need those for sunday) and they have the weekend to dry.
Glad you got the glasses fixed Blueberry.
Get well soon Em
Day off today but not sure if I am gym bound as I think I only have 1 session left of the 10 I bought and I would rather use that thursday when Cam is in gym as that hour tends to drag and my payday is not until friday.

Well all is quiet at minute, ds and dd have gone to school, and little ds is still in his cot, think he is awake but he is quiet, he usually reads a book then throws everything out his cot before i go get him, got the uniforms washed and dry, thank god for my tumble dryer, ds(16) gave me a fright this morning said his gf kept been sick when she got home, I said i hope shes not pregnant but he says you cant get pregnant from eating a lasagne, apparantly gf's mum makes a rubbish lasagne and it always makes her feel ill, lol, anyway thats ds's toy radio thrown out the cot, so better go turn washer on and go get him, did think he would sleep longer cos he had some calpol last night and it sent him hypo and he didnt go to bed till 10.30 which he has never done before!, have a nice day everyone.:party05:

Ive decided to do as little as poss today as I will be in work for the rest of the week until my next day off on saturday (yes I know it's part time but you can't/don't feel like doing much when you finish and get home)
weather not good enough to risk putting washing out. I popped out earlier to post some letters, get electric as I was on the emergency and get a few bits from tesco.
I Will probably quickly run the hoover over the front room again to show I've done something and put the few bits of washing away.
hi everyone this is the first chance i've had to get on today dh is on a day off. We've had a really good day just relaxing.

Hi girls! Hope your day has been fine so far. Mine has been ok. I've just bought a new type of hair shampoo and conditioner during lunchtime (got duped into buying actually - my fault, cos I'm such a compulsive buyer). It's called TRESemme and it's supposed to be good for dry and damaged hair like mine, as the brand is previously used only at salons (so they say). So now I've got hair that's smelling wonderfully like mothballs :ac39: although it's a bit softer now. My hair is normally better the day after shampooing so we shall see how it goes tomorrow.

I'm using that shampoo Shah, the coloured hair one, I really like it. Haven't used the conditioner yet though (haven't finished my last bottle yet!)
We had baby dance again today so madam is wrecked! It's the last week before easter next week cryingsmil so they're having a wee party. Can't believe she won't be going back after the summer, it'll be strange not going there every week.

Why isn't Madam going to baby dance anymore? Is she starting school after summer? Wow! Can't believe she's growing up too fast!

Well after my successful Virgin party the other week i have been signed up as an angel. She asked me to be a consultant but i said no.What with working 2/3 evenings a week i thought it would be too much, plus i need a guarenteed income.
so tonight i went with my consultant to learn all about the products and so she could practise doing a facial and a make-over on me.It was nice to be pampered for a change and i learnt some great tips.
