Someone mentioned on here or another forum about using an Asda Smartprice fleece blanket to make nappy liners.

I saw the blankets in Asda the other day, they were something like £1.87. I used a fleece nappy liner that I had as a size guide and cut the blanket up. I got 40 liners out of it. :woot:

I used to make my own reusable wipes too, I cut an old bath towel to the same size as a conventional wipe and then sewed a similar sized piece of cheap fleece blanket to the other side. Carried them and a small spritzing bottle of water with a drop of lavender in to moisten them with then just bunged them in the wash with the nappies. I also made some of these in a completely different colour to use on faces and they were washed in with a normal wash. The towelling side was great for shifting stubborn bits from the skin.

Well done Chell!!! I might have to have a look when I go there next, as I could do with something a little softer against Noods skin now and I don't want to buy any more paper wipes once the ones I have are gone.

I love my reusable wipes too - I tend to only need one or two when changing a really bad Noods nappy, whereas the "normal" wipes tend to get used in their packet load.

Sewing is beyond my capabilities , I have those type of wipes as I bought them from a WAH site.
