Hope everyone remembered it is Shrove Tuesday.

What have you had with your pancakes?

I had some chocolate spread left so melted that and spread it on the middle with bananas, Tasha had strawberries with hers.

The boys have had theirs J had sugar on one and syrup an the other, D had lemon and sugar on one and chocolatee sauce on the other.
DH and I will ahve ours later..probably lemon and sugar

Lazy mum here !, kids are all moaning because i have brought frozen pancakes and not making them this year too much like hard work at the moment !

We have had lemon & sugar, golden syrup or strawberry syrup.

We didnt think kids would want pancakes as we normally have them for breakfast on a sunday, but they decided they had to have them today as well.

We had lemon & sugar, OH had jam (although he wanted Maple Syrup but we had run out). They were lovely esp. as OH cooked them!! He didnt wash up though.

We just had lemon and sugar and I got a lecture of how to make them from my DS as she had already made them at school today - lol

i have never eaten pancakes before (makes me sick) but kids had some at mums, with guava jelly (jam), and lemon and sugar, dh had about 3 packets woth so about 20, all with lemon and sugar, guess whos gonna be ill tonight pmsl:laugh:

Ds who last year spat out a mouthful had 2 n half pancakes bless him-only suger but I was so pleased bless him esp as his pain in the neck of a pal refused to eat owt!!!!2006argh

I had lemon, kids had chocolate sauce and toffee, and little ds tasted his and said YAK and refused to eat for the rest of the day until we went to skeltons and bought him a sausage roll which he ate then fell asleep for an hour!

Kids had made (and eaten!) them at school yesterday - but still wanted some for tea!

DD said she liked lemon and sugar on the one at school - but wouldn't like it at home, and wanted syrup(!)

Ds asked for jam on his pancakes.

I tried one with syrup but prefer 'em with lemon and sugar, so had another couple like that! Dh also has lemon and sugar.

We always used to have pancakes for Sunday breakfast, pre-kids ... might have to start doing that again - especially as DH used to cook them - and his usually turn out better than mine! (My excuse, and I'm sticking to it!!!!)
