Introducing our brand new product tester

I'm really pleased to announce the arrival of our fifth and most definately last little one.

Our tie-breaker baby boy arrived last night at 9.25 after a 3.5hr labour at home. Born into water in our front room after a really great (as these things go) labour he weighed 9lb 5oz and is called Jude Lennon Rushbrook. I got to bring him up myself and I cut the cord which was lovely, a real end to the story so to speak.

Due to giving birth in the pool the midwives couldn't measure for sure but officially I had a small postpartum hemmorage but it wasn't enough to take me in so I'm feeling rough but at least in my own bed. 2nd degree tear so I'm sore as well as tired but feeling pretty good under the circumstances. The other kids are besotted and he's really beautiful. I think he has blue eyes which only my blue eyed DD had, the others all had grey eyes (dinks were partially brown already at birth) and he's blond which is a first.

Breastfeed like a pro yesterday and is asking for a feed now so I'd better go :)
