""cutey""b Stokey I bet if you rung nursery now they would be telling you that he his happy and playing. My middle dd is 5 and still clings to me and crys sometimes but whenever I have rung the school to check on her they say she is happy. Try not to worry I'm sure he is fine.
""cutey""b try not to worry i went through this with my ds andwhen i rang to see how he was they'd say he settled as soon as you were gone. I know it's hard but try to keep yourself occupied while he's at nursery so that the time passes quicker for you.

i'm totally freaking out for when jake has to go, but he's like that when he goes to my mum's, the moment i have gone he runs about as if i'm not even real, i'm sure your lo will be fine, i think its more stressful for the mums than the kids lol""cutey""b

Mine always did the same and still does at age 7! don't know if boys seem more clingy, but when we have gone they calm down, honest. It makes you feel like the worst mum in the world, but your not, your the best xxxx
When the children in our pre-school come in crying 99.9% of them stop as soon as Mum/Dad is out of sight, I bet if you had a peep through the window you would see him playing happily.
Its far worse for the parents than it is for the child..Trust me.

i used to work in a nursery and there was a little boy that screemed when his mum left him but she could'nt of got in her car and he'd be happy playing i felt so sorry for her im sure she felt like ur feeling is there anywhere you could wait without him seeing you so you know he settled
hope he settles soon :luck:

I agree woth everyone else, I am sure he will have settled within minutes of you going. Next time You could always ring the nursery to put your mind at rest so you can enjoy your time too.
