Hello all. I need to let off steam about DIY and decorating. Firstly, I really want to do some! But we only have our house for 4 years and I don't want to spend a fortune (which we don't have) on decorating when we will just end up leaving it behind. My DS is due to move in his bedroom very soon but there are bunk beds fixed to the wall and we can't take them down I don't think which only leaves space for his cot. What about a wardrobe for his clothes?
Is there places you can buy cheap bits of wood to make shelves with? I'd really like to make all shelves and that myself but dunno how to.
Is there anyone else who lives on a really tight budget who manages or managed to decorate? If so please help! Any idea would be greatly appreciated.

could you RIG some thing up to use the bunk bed as a wardrobe cupboard area ?

I was thinking that... I'm not sure. we use the bunk bed to put his clothes on at the mo but there will soon be no space, plus I keep banging my head lol. I guess it could look tidier with a drape or something over them :) Thanks xxx

What about drawers with wheels on to go under the bunk,They are very spacious and wide so you will fit lots in without over packing it,Also What about clothes pegs fitted on one of the walls to hang there clothes on.
