Yes dress up as your favorite character at Emily's school. Its always easier with girls because they usually have dress up stuff anyway, although I told Emily she can go as Lauren from The Secret Unicorn Books, so she can just wear normal clothes :hysterica She wanted to be a weather fairy but not really practical for this weather and p.e.day. Can you send him as Action Man or something like that?

my daughter has book day and its a pain i think , we spent an hour in the fancy dress shop last week , everything was so expensive over 30 for an outfit of dorothey from wizard of ozz:eek: in the end we hired a dress from a shop that hires them , she charged 10 which i think was good for the dress and bits .

Our school are not doing anything.

Last time youngest had to dress up was as one of her favourite nursery rhyme characters. She went as the Queen of hearts I just sewed lots of red hearts that I had painted on cardboard onto a cheap dress and her dress-up cape.
