Thank goodness for the internet. My name is vikki I am 31 and have worked, flexi, partime and fulltime since birth of my son, Matthew. Certain events in my life mean that I can be a fulltime mum! One week in and I am feeling a little strange with organising myself and not napping all the time! The only structure I have at the moments is the school run, countdown and deal/no deal! help...:smiley-fa

Hi Vikki and welcome to the site
I think it just takes a while to get into a routine. I have gone the other way, from being a SAHM to WAHM and its taking me a while to get into a new routine...certainly not enough hours in the day now!
Look forward to chatting

Hello Vikki - I am a sahm with a seven year old daughter. It is strange at first, being at home all day and you do tend to feel that you should be doing something all the time. You will soon get into a routine though and believe me it won't be long before other people start finding you things to occupy your time. Make the most of the peace and quiet :hysterica

:Hello2: I'm Karen, SAHM with 2 kids, 5 and 3. We could do with me being a working mum, money a bit tight, but not really qualified to do anything therefore in the type of jobs i'd get (shop work etc.) it would cost as much to get childcare (that's my excuse!!!)only joined here last month and i'm totally hooked!! (although the viewing figures for daytime tv must have gone down since i joined here!!!) you'll love it !!!
