Feeling Lost?!?

I know this probably sounds daft but I feel as though I have got nothing to focus/look forward to now that I have launched my webiste. This has kept me occupied for the last few months and kept my mind active.

Now I just feel lost again, dont know what to do with myself, kids are back at school on Mon so not got them round.

Did anyone else feel like this after launching there site or does anyone feel like this in general?

I know I should be excited and happy about it but I just feel blah, now feel as though I have got nothing to look forward to again. No holiday plans, birthday parties nothing.

You still have plenty to do...I think you need to make a plan of action now you have it up and running.

One of your aims now is how to promote your site for free, look for free directories to add to etc etc. You need to get your site known and sure there are plenty of WAH parents with suggestions. Getting your website up and running is only half the job

I am looking at the promoting side at the moment and new range that I am sourcing at the moment.

I think its just me having a down day and feeling flat after the excitement of getting site ready and launching it.

Got mixed feeling about kids going back to school as well half of me cannot wait for them to go back and the other half is going to miss having them around.

I think its always difficult. There is always the hope that you will launch your site and it will take off straight away, unfortunately, the reality is that that never happens. Will get together a list for you (and the others I promised) of some free sites where you can add yours. One thing I have noticed is that you dont have a links section on your site and its always a very good idea to have as swapping links with others is a great way to get your site known as well

Am sorting links page out as Snowfairy (kipskabin) has already said about doing a link swap.

I didnt expect any sales straight away as I know my site caters to people on a one off occasion thats why I did the magnets and door plaques as well.

Maybe feeling low is all the late nights getting site sorted, kids playing up and nearly time of month.

Its hard trying to switch off I find. If Im not thinking about what I have outstanding on here, I am thinking about what I have typing wise as well! Its brain overload..

Sorry not had time to read the other replies but now you should be filling your time working on the marketing of it and new ideas, so lots to keep you busy and focused

Thanks choice exactly what Toni said, I think it was one of those bad days where everything gets to you.

I am just sorting out new stock, advertising etc at the moment and excited as I have got an order for a full party to organise in May so looking forward to doing that.
