My eldest daughter Katherine (14 in June), is singing a solo at a the family fun day our church is putting on this afternoon. She's going to sing Amazing Grace, it's her own choice as she was going to sing sugarbabes caught in a moment!
She does a really good version of it and I'm sooo excited and nervous. The camcorder is set up and ready to go :D

Hi guys thanks for all your good wishes. We were quite worried about her for a start, she was really down and shivery I'm not sure if she's getting a cold. We went into one of the corridors at the school for a practice and she kept stopping and saying it's crap I can't do it. I reassured her and told her it was good and that I would tell her if it wasn't.
Anyway she went on and she was absolutely stunning, I didn't see her 'properly' as I was stuck behind the camcorder, I was shaking so much. Everyone clapped and cheered at the end. People said she gave them goosebumps, they said she has the voice of an angel. The guy in the band said she has a 'stonking' voice and her singing teacher who never gets emotional was in tears!
She was a star. A couple of people have asked her if she's going to be a professional singer!!
I'm soooooooooooooooooooo proud of her and she's sooooooooooo pleased with herself that she did it.
I'm one PROUD Mummy!!

It's me again! Just to let you know that Katherine sang Amazing Grace again in church this morning and again she was fab! I was very proud again. She said today that when she's up there singing she looks at me to see if I'm proud of her, I told her that I'm always proud of her for lots of things that she does, not just when she's singing on the stage. We are very close I'm so blessed to have had four such wonderful children, I know Christopher isn't here with us but I know he's looking down on us :)
