Another 'Hello'!

Hello!

Another newbie here. Been reading the instructions about what I can and can't post and am now totally confused :laugh: so just slap me down if I make any too-horrendous mistakes.

I'm Lucy, been working from home for 6 years now. First running Button-up nappies, and now 2 very different businesses - Jiwa Web Design - just getting into this with my first few clients, and While Shepherds Watched - making Nativity costumes. As you can imagine I'm swamped with costume orders at the moment, so some late nights and I'm not always making sense!

I have 2 children, Yasmin who's 9 in year 5, and Samir who's 7 in year 3. Husband & 2 cats complete our family.

Recognise quite a few names from other places - looking forward to getting to know more of you .

You are able to post about your sites in your intro - which you have done - and then after that it as per the rules in our WAH sticky which we have tried to make as easy as possible for everyone to understand. However, just PM me if you are unsure.

Oh yes I can imagine your order books are full of nativity costumes this time of year. When mine were at infant school there was one Mum who would always sort out bits for us less able twats. Do you do other costumes throughout the year, ours always seem to need a costume for some play or assembly or other.

No, I don't do other costumes (yet?!). I've not found anything that has the same appeal as nativity costumes, and TBH after each December I've been only too glad to put the sewing machine away!!

Hello Lucy! Can't believe your eldest is 9 - but had to remind myself mine is actually 10 next year so that's about right!
Another name you'll recall from early UKP nappy forum days is Hannah who makes lovely slings these days (she used to make Poppets nappies, remember those?)

yes - DD is 9 1/2 now, 10 next year - those first tiny nappies seem such a long time ago!
