Arghhh I think I do this *every* year!!

I think I need to bring forward my last order date, after a slow-ish start the orders are steadily trickling in now, which is fab but I want to carry on enjoying what I'm doing rather than going into panic mode! Which is a bit mad I know as we all want as many orders as possible I don't work well under stress and it would take all the enjoyment out of it.

So at the moment the last order date is Tuesday 4th December.

So I'm going to change it, which do you think would be best, Friday 28th November, Saturday 29th November, or Sunday 30th November? Or doesn't really make any difference?

I was thinking Friday because its sort of the end of the week. But then would people be more likely order things at the weekend?

Edited to say
Oops I've just realised after checking my calender there is no such date as Tues 4th Dec!! Better get a date decided now, I think I'll go for the nearer date.

What do you reckon? I would be very interested to hear your views.

Thanks :happy72:

Could you cope if you got a lot of orders over that weekend? Do you generally find weekends are busy? I often buy online over the weekend, but I know my site is far busier on a Monday then any other day - especially around 9.30am-10.30am, which is presumably the office workers have started the week as they intend to carry on surfing the internet. LOL

Thanks for your thoughts friendlybaby, hmmm its tricky, as much as I would like to leave the date as late as possible I think the sensible thing (for me) to do would be to bring it forward. I don't want to run the risk of not being able to cope.

I must admit though, if I've been putting off ordering something I do normally do it at the weekend. But then again if people were going to order maybe they would have by now especially as December is just around the corner, seems funny though I hadn't had any new orders for a few days then I got quite a few today all in the afternoon.

Thanks, looks like Monday was a good day for me too! You know I wouldn't have thought a week day would be more popular than a weekend.

I agree Monday - those that do the browsing over the weekend will pull their finger out and order.

Thanks Miranda, I've decided to make my last order date Friday 28th for this year. If I had everything made up and only needed to personalise them then I probably could get away with leaving it until much later but earlier is better for me this year I think.
